The Business Visitors Permit lets foreign nationals undertake business, study, research, consultancy or work-related activities in Fiji for 21 days. Since 1 August 2022 it is granted for 21 days and cannot be extended; working beyond 21 days without a proper permit can lead to removal and denial of future entry. Nationals of Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA are issued the permit automatically on arrival with no advance application, while others email a request with a letter of invitation from a local organisation to [email protected], typically answered within 2 to 24 hours.
