The Permanent Residence ID lets a foreign national reside in Ethiopia long term; the card is valid for five years and renewable on expiry. The standard eligibility is to have established domicile and lived in Ethiopia for at least three years immediately before applying, to show a sufficient and lawful source of income to support oneself and one's family, and to be of good character.
