Since 11 August 2025 any expatriate holding a valid residence permit in another GCC country (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Oman or Bahrain) may obtain a Kuwait tourist visa on arrival, regardless of profession, replacing the older 2008 rule that limited it to specific occupations.
